About us
During his career as an equine photographer, Bob Langrish has often been asked by calendar, magazine and stationery companies to photograph dogs. Being fully occupied with the photography of horses, he was unable to find the time until recently, when his wife Pam joined the business on a full time basis and KA9 Photo was created.
Pam has always been interested in photography and is now combining that with a love of animals, particularly dogs. Bob and Pam have now begun to build a comprehensive library of dogs, aiming for the same sort of impact, power and natural feeling with the canines, that has made Bob one of the top equine photographers in the world. They prefer a natural theme, rather than the more posed studio situations.
After only 6 months of photography, there are already about 3,000 pictures in the new dog library and over a hundred different breeds. This has been facilitated by their visits to horse farms around the world, as there are inevitably dogs and puppies in abundance around the yards.
KA9 Photo has also taken over the library of England's premier canine magazine 'Your Dog Magazine' and are therefore able to offer a wider selection of breed images.
